Unexpected Pregnancy

Finding out that you are or could be pregnant can sometimes come as a bit of shock.

You may feel confused or frightened?

scratch head

What kind of thoughts are going through your head? It may be helpful to have a piece of paper and pen to think these things through. Ask yourself the following questions?

  •             What thoughts am I experiencing?
  •             What feelings am I experiencing?

This should give you an idea of what is happening inside.

Everyone you speak to about your pregnancy may have a different view about what you should do.

If I was you I would,

                        You should,

                                          You can’t possibly

                                                                   You won’t cope

The most important voice to listen to you is your own.

There can be lots of pressure put on you to act in this way or that.

How will I cope?

                        Money

                                    School

                                                Partner

You may be faced with difficult choices that have no easy answer.

What am I going to do?

                             Which way forward?

                                                          What are my options?

If you can it is good to take some time and think through what you want.
